SEGA!!

So I'm sitting here in the computer lab doing work and I figured I'd take a break from typing to do uh, more typing...but fun typing..that I won't be graded on...
Do you ever sit in class and remember stuff from waaaay back and find it hard to not laugh. I mean stuff that is really just tucked away in the farthest recesses of your mind and suddenly comes up...
I was thinking today about elementary school. Not elementary school stories like the time when I kept spilling chocolate milk on the side of my jorts (jean shorts) and it looked like I pooped in my pants (it's tough when that happens consecutively in one week). Or how in 3rd grade, I had a lot to drink, but for some ridiculous reason I would only use the stalls in the bathroom...just my luck, all the stalls were taken and let's just say wearing sweat pants that day did not serve me well. (my mom had to throw that pair underwear way if that tells you anything.......definitely too much info) Or how I used to talk to the bus driver on the way home from school (that's embarrassing and yet I just told you). I'm talking about the one thing all the Glose boys lived for....(loud trumpets) SEGA!!!!! (people cheering)...it's hard to type sound effects....
You have got to remember Sega...it was a 1990's institution.....up-down-left-right-A-C-Start(cheat code to the first Sonic) that game console used to be the ultimate source of entertainment for me and my bros.

I remember playing Sega all the time, after school, on break, on weekends. Anytime. That thing had some classic games...Sonic the Hedgehog..I never did beat Sonic 2 (that one hurt)..Charles Barkley Shut Up and Jam...Ecco the Dolphin (hard game)...The Jungle Book...Jurassic Park...Hook (awesome movie by the way)...NBA Jam..NHL '94...X-Men...the list goes on and on.. This was just an great thing...forget the fancy pants game consoles now.GIVE ME SEGA!!!! OR GIVE ME NOTHING!!!!

What can bring about actual tears of joy like winning a Stanley Cup in NHL '94 (happened) or bring so much pain like Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (how can you seriously make the last level that hard?!) Or make a game about the 7-Up dot...it seriously can't be compared to anything
If everybody had the chance to play Sega at least once then the crime rate in America would be dramatically lower...proven fact

  1. unbelievable. we need to play this sega. I had nearly the same experience with this jacob but with super nintendo. Super play action football, super mario kart, super mario world, super mario all stars, and battle droids.yes. those were simpler times baby.
