I'm sitting here attempting to build up momentum so I can get back to working on a paper due next week
It is a really nice day out...there was some loud music playing on campus and I couldn't tell why
I saw some kick ball action going on so I can only assume these kick ballers enjoy music during their kick ball festivities.
I'm thinking I'm just going to ramble about what's been going on so let's make this an update shall we...
So the past few weeks have been insane...double insane
I have been knocking out school work at a pretty rapid pace but it seems like the more I get done, the more comes at me. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel though....just barely
I have a class on Thursday nights and last night I taught my last lesson for the class. I gave a lesson on the 1960's and the Counterculture Movement. It went pretty good..having it filmed always throws me off though.
Something about knowing I am on tape AND also knowing I have to watch the tape always is interesting.
That class has made me grow tremendously in terms of my presence in front of people and the way I convey my thoughts
I am going to teach in a high school class on Monday for a grade. That shouldn't been too bad except that has to be taped as well.
After I get done with that, I will be almost done with everything for the semester. Other than another paper and 3 presentations......then finals
This 19 hour semseter has been quite the beat down on me though and if I was playing football, then there would be a good chance it wouldn't be able to do it.
Next fall, I am only taking 12 hours because I will be coaching...that's going to be quite the difference in work loads.
Either way, this semester has flown by, actually this year has flown by.
It's hard to believe that I will be a senior in college next year. It seriously seems like yesterday that I was a week away from leaving home and heading to Central Missouri for football. I can remember my mom saying how fast it's going to go and it seriously did.
This summer will be a good one though. I honestly think this might be the longest summer I've ever had. Lindenwood doesn't go back to school until like the very last week of August. I want to say we're rocking like 14 weeks off this summer.
I will be working a lot but it will be nice to be able to play my guitar more. (I'm pretty simple like that)
I am also looking forward to hanging with the bros a lot more this summer. This has really been a season of separation for the 4 of us. Justin and Jamison have really been busy this past year with the Midwest Movement, Jared is home but is busy with school and Youth at church and I've been at school for a lot of it. I'm hoping this summer finds us more time to spend together.
My cousin Brittany and her husband Kris are also going to be in town for the summer and I am so pumped for that. no joke, if you ever get to meet them then you will be better off for it. They are awesome! I'm hoping to spend a lot of time with them if it works out. Without a doubt they will be very busy too.
Anyway, I'm thinking the blog will be kept going through the summer. It might tail off a little because obviously the summer isn't that exciting (well, even less exciting than my normal non-exciting life right now)
but I really, really appreciate everybody that reads it. It means a lot to me that you guys find my thoughts interesting......or at least something to read when you are bored. Either way, it's very cool!
Alright, that's it....I need to finish up a paper on Francis Drake (exciting)
not exciting
